The April general meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club was held on Thursday, April 9th. Corporal Andrew Luukko was our guest speaker. He talked about the dangers of phone and online fraud, such as investment, emergency-grandparent, and service scams. He pointed out how to recognize, reject, and report this fraud. Thank you, Corporal Luukko, for your interesting presentation and the valuable information you gave us.
The next general meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club will be held on Thursday, June 11th. We will be discussing the changes in the Constitution at this meeting.
There is an OAP luncheon on Thursday, April 16th. The menu consists of baked ham, twice baked potatoes, mixed vegetables and a bun. The dessert will be Strawberry Angel Food Delight.
There will also be luncheons on May21st and June 18th.
Please consider volunteering to help at Bingo, either as a cashier or to help in the concession.
The next Coffee & Co will be April 25th and another on May 2nd. Come join us for games, crafts, and conversation.
Reminder: The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) continues at the OAP Hall until the end of April.
