The first meeting of the year for Monashee 50+ Club had a nice turn out. The new executive was sworn in, three of which are new to the line up. Welcome Sharen, Karen, and Wendy. The Executive would like to thank all the December volunteers who help with the meals that were put on. The food was delicious and well prepared. The market held on December 17th was a great success with lots of vendors and patrons. The Santa Toy Run distributed around 60 gifts throughout the community, thanks to some more volunteers. Word has it that a new Bingo machine may be delivered around the end of January, looking forward to it.
Get ready for a VALENTINE LUNCH at the hall on February 9th. Bring your sweetheart and enjoy some more excellent food and good company. If anyone would like to come and help prepare, serve or cleanup, please contact Cindy at 250-306-6381.
