Did you know the original Mabel Lake Community Hall was originally located on private property?

In 1989, the owner of the property wanted the hall removed and it was Jack and Greta Tolley who stood up and donated 5 acres of land to the Mabel Lake Community Club.   Funds were received from the Regional District of the North Okanagan and the Provincial Government to purchase lumber and other building materials for the new hall.   The hall was constructed entirely by volunteer labour and the generosity of the Mabel Lake Community.  Today, the hall is located at 111 Shuswap Falls Road.
