Moments in Time – Photos & Memories from the Lumby Museum – Lumby Hotel – October 15, 2021

On October 25th, 1962, the Lumby Hotel became the first dwelling to be connected to Lumby’s sanitary sewer system. Residences that followed the initial connection paid $3.00 per month for the service.  In 1974, rates were increased to $4.00 per month, which generated an annual revenue of $17,300.00 to the Village of Lumby.
