Moments in Time – Photos & Memories from the Lumby Museum – Logging Trucks – June 25, 2021

This 1922 Federal logging truck driven by 16 year old Ernie Pierce and his brother 18 year old Jack Pierce was used to haul logs from Mabel Lake to Vernon.  It is the predecessor to the more modern 1981 logging truck owned by the Jamie and Wayne LeBlanc.  Ernie Pierce was one of the original Lumby councillors when Lumby was incorporated in 1955
