The Lumby & District Figure Skating Club enchanted audiences with their annual ice show, “Enchanted Forest.” Held at the Lumby Arena, the event showcased the remarkable progress and dedication of the club’s young skaters, who brought the forest to life with magical performances.
From shimmering fairies twirling across the ice to daring woodland gnomes leaping through imaginary glades, each routine reflected the skaters’ growth throughout the season. Their grace, strength, and creativity captivated the crowd and made for an unforgettable evening.
Skater of the Year & Friendship Award

A highlight of the night was the presentation of the Skater of the Year and Friendship Award. The Skater of the Year was awarded to Sierra Sidwell, recognized for their outstanding dedication, skill, and sportsmanship. The Friendship Award went to Taya Gamache, celebrated for their kindness and team spirit. Congratulations to both recipients on their well-deserved honours!
