Another successful Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign in Lumby! A total of 19 volunteers – not all Lumby Lions’ members – manned the Kettle from 22 Nov to 21 Dec.
The Kettle was manned on Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 6pm for a total of 10 days and 60 hours. Just over $4,000.00 was collected and the Lumby Lions wish to thank not only the volunteers; but the exceptionally generous folks in Lumby and Area and also visitors who helped our campaign.
We are always looking for volunteers to help man the Kettle in the Holiday Season so keep us in mind for next year. Pictured is Maurice Richard a former Lumby Lions member manning the Kettle.
