The Heartbeat of Lumby with Guilt Free Shopping
Lumby Community Thrift Store… Sept. 18, 2020

Our Annual General Meeting will be held 4:00pm Saturday, September 26th at the OAP Hall in Lumby.

Is this bit of cool weather and thoughts of harvest inspiring you to get cooking some comfort food? It makes me want to wrap up in an oversized sweater with a good book and a warm mug of tea.  Anything you need to get warm and cozy this fall, we have it here!  A large kitchen department chock full, including a wall of glassware and mugs, racks of sweaters, and a hallway resembling a library with so many books and magazines!  Fall jackets are starting to make their way to the racks. We have an amazing selection of ladies blazers, leather and faux leather jackets in a wide range of styles and sizes.

We are having a Denim Daze Sale! Sept 15-26 all jeans in-store are on sale for 50 cents /pair! Our display table in the hallway will have a spread to peruse.  Also, our overstock of crystal is taking up some space, so Jean has marked it down to 50% off for at least the next month!

$10 bag day is back!  Mark you calendars, Sat Sept 26th, and be sure to come in! Enough clothing to fill a black garbage bag and a regular priced pair of shoes or boots for just ten dollars?! Start the car! Bag day hours are 10-3.

The staff and volunteers would like to express their thanks to everyone who has been so diligent with keeping our space safe while shopping. The store is well organized into departments to make your bargain hunt simple. As well, your understanding of our reduced hours and selective donation process is appreciated more than you can know.  We have a few changes in the coming weeks and will keep you informed here and on our Facebook page.

We are located in the Arbor Park shopping mall between the Dollar Dollar Store and the Pagoda Inn Restaurant. Store hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and 11am to 2pm.  Donations are being accepted at the trailer in the parking lot Tuesday and Thursday 11-2 and Saturday 12-1. Please refrain from leaving your contributions in the hallway space.  Phone number 778-473-3003.  Thank you for supporting us and keeping us the best little thrift shop in the valley!
