Sports News:
Darts will be returning this Thursday from 7-9pm. Grandma & Grandpa darts will be May 25th. Sign in is at 9:30am, games begin at 10:00am, limited to 19 teams, $40/team to play, a light lunch is included. Must register as a team rcl167bc@shaw.ca or call 250-547-2338.
Seniors pool tournament will be Friday May 10th at 5:00pm. Ladies pool tournament will be Saturday May 11th at 3:00pm, followed by mixed doubles at 6:00pm, $5 per person per event. Must be a member in good standing to participate.
Upcoming Events:
A big thank-you to all who helped make the first night of musical bingo a great success! Thank-you to Meg and Stephanie for all your help with the appetizers. Roy and Fred did an awesome job hosting, and a shout out to Russ for running the bar. The night was a great success. Meat-draws are every Saturday from 3-5pm. There will be a special meat-draw on May 25th to support JW Inglis Elementary School PAC. Karaoke is this Friday, May 10th.
Thursdays are open jam from 3-5pm, anyone is welcome, so bring your instruments and singing voice. Free pool is available during open hours. You do not need to be a member to come to the Legion, but it is a 19+ venue. Regular lounge hours from 2-6pm
Legion Updates:
The next members meeting will be held on May 15th at 6PM. The Legion still has dates available to rent the cabin at Gardom Lake for all Legion members. The Legion hall upstairs is also available to rent for special events and activities, keep in mind it is a 19+ venue. There are also tables and chairs available to rent.
