How is everyone this week? It’s still nice and warm, although a bit wet. I was speaking with a lady in Vernon this week who said that this is the warmest Winter Carnival that she could remember. We should enjoy it while we have it, it probably won’t last.
Last weekend we held the Zone Pool and Darts playoffs. Zone Pool was on Saturday. The winners of the Pool playoffs are Tim Beahm and Nick Hodge from Lumby and Jason Manning and David Crosby from Kelowna. The alternate is Dane Markie. They will be going to the Provincial playoffs, good luck to all of them, The Zone Darts tournament, the Ladies Rep is Lori Mindnich and the Ladies Doubles Rep’s are Lori and Deb Calvert. The other Rep’s From Kelowna for the singles, Oyama for doubles and Oyama for the team. Congratulations to all the winners . Good luck at the Provincial playoffs. The zone Cribbage Playoff is in Oyama.
The next Karaoke is on February 16th from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. Come on out and enjoy the after Valentines Karaoke. As usual we have the Jam Session and Darts on Thursdays. We are open Fridays 2:00 to 6:00 pm (except for Karaoke nights). Then Saturdays for the Meat raffle. Also on February 24th the Lumby Figure Skating Club is Hosting the Meat Raffle. Everyone should make an extra effort to come and support the Figure Skating Club.
The next Shuffleboard is on February 18th Register at 12:30 play starts at 1:15 pm.
The next general meeting is on February 21st at 7:00 pm. Please make every effort to attend as we are inviting the Zone Commander to come and install the executives. We will be distributing year pin and past officers metals.
