Welcome to our new Board of Directors for 2025

Thank you everyone who came out to the MAC Annual General Meeting and welcome our Board for 2025 Cathy Lansing, Jeannette Wilding, Norma Bouzek, Christine Rawcliffe, Diann Siemens, Bev Danby, Theresa Stranack, Julie Pilon and Kathy Munts! with Robin LeDrew continuing as our past president!

Book Signing – Meet local author Doris Squair

November 4th – December 24th 2024

Saturday December 7th, drop by the Village Gallery to meet Doris Squair, author of a new children’s book ‘Olive and the Guardian Eagle’ about looking at grief from a child’s perspective.

Doris will be at the Village Gallery to talk about the book and sign copies between 1pm – 4pm.

100% of the proceeds from each book sale at the gallery has generously been donated to MAC’s Kids and Youth Art classes.

Call for Artists – Art Unleashed – Open show

Bring in your latest creations for the first show of 2025

Let your creativity roam free with this open show where our artists get to pick the subject matter and medium and share the results as they unleash their talent!

MAC shows are open to all artists no matter age or where they may be on their artistic path and we hope you will join us in showcasing your art.

Art Classes – for all ages

If you or someone in your household loves the arts now is the time to sign up for Art classes.

Community Art Class Program – teen and adult

Upcoming classes including Acrylic painting, come play with color and various mediums, Design for taking your work to the next level exploring composition and other important details of your art, Polymer clay where you can bring any fantastical creature from cats to dragons to life.  Let your Artistic side come out to play!

Classes are on Wednesday evenings at the O.A.P. Hall from 5:30-8:00pm. Register at the Lumby Village Gallery.

Kids classes – ages 6-12yrs

Do your kids want to create? Join us every Thursday from 3-5pm at the Lumby OAP Hall where youth get to explore their creative sides as they try out various forms of artistic mediums in a fun, encouraging environment.  With a focus on skill building and just generally having FUN and being Creative!

Register at the Lumby Village Gallery as space is limited and classes fill up fast.
