Happening Now – Celebrating our Community Artists!

We are excited to invite the public to experience the 3rd Annual Year-End Show, running from March 31st to April 25th, 2025. This exhibition will feature the incredible works created by local artists who participated in the Community Art Class Program.

The show will showcase a variety of artistic expressions, including Drawing, Design, Watercolour Painting, Acrylic Painting, Modern Art, and Polymer Clay. It’s a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the talent and creativity that our local artists have developed throughout the year.

The Community Art Class Program, organized by local arts volunteer Jeannette Wilding and supported by the Monashee Arts Council, has been a wonderful platform for artistic growth and community engagement.

Join us in celebrating the creativity of our community and experience the vibrant works of local artists. We look forward to seeing you at the show!

Check out Public Curation Businesses – ‘Out and about on the Salmon Trail’

Over the past few months you may have seen Robin LeDrew, a local artist ‘out and about on the Salmon Trail’. She was collecting images of walkers and their dogs, iconic hillscapes, trees and even Dennis the cat for a 9ft wide interactive painting, now currently hanging at IDA’s bakery. This is part of the Public Curation program sponsored by the Monashee Arts Council in collaboration with local businesses in our community.
