Celebrating our Community Artists!

We are excited to invite the public to experience the 3rd Annual Year-End Show, running from March 31st to April 25th, 2025. This exhibition will feature the incredible works created by local artists who participated in the Community Art Class Program.

The show will showcase a variety of artistic expressions, including Drawing, Design, Watercolour Painting, Acrylic Painting, Modern Art, and Polymer Clay. It’s a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the talent and creativity that our local artists have developed throughout the year.
The Community Art Class Program, organized by local arts volunteer Jeannette Wilding and supported by the Monashee Arts Council, has been a wonderful platform for artistic growth and community engagement.
Join us in celebrating the creativity of our community and experience the vibrant works of local artists. We look forward to seeing you at the show!

Call for Submissions: Acrylics and Oils: A Palette of Possibilities
From the 7th century to today, artists have been using oils to express their thoughts, emotions, and views of the world. Since the development of acrylic paint in the 1930s, artists have also been exploring the exciting possibilities of this versatile medium.
The Monashee Village Gallery invites you to showcase the rich, silky textures and moody glazes of oils alongside the vibrant, dynamic possibilities of acrylics. Each medium offers a unique way to express creativity—now’s your chance to show us what you’ve got! We can’t wait to celebrate your artistic expression!
Submission Deadline: April 25.
