A little help for a local

Funding and prayer request for Deirdra Buerge. Deirdre Buerge has lived in Lumby most of her life, overcoming the struggles that being born with cerebral palsy presents.  On Feb 15, 2021 she gave birth to her third child, Knox. While in hospital, Deirdra was diagnosed with leukaemia. She and her husband Charles, along with new baby Knox were sent to hospital in Vancouver, where all three of them were unfortunate to be diagnosed with Covid-19.  Their other two you children remain in Lumby under care of Charles’ mother, Angela Meger. Because he needs to be with Deirdra and care for Knox, Charles is unable to work.  The Lumby Thrift Store is accepting donations specifically for Deirdra Buerge and her family to assist them at this time. Thrift Store open hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10-3.
