30 Years of Proof: Real People Real Results

If you are suffering from a chronic disease, it may include:

  • Cardiovascular diseases: heart disease, stroke, and hypertension (high blood pressure).
  • Cancer: a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth.
  • Diabetes: a metabolic disorder affecting how the body uses glucose.
  • Chronic respiratory diseases: such as COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and asthma.
  • Mental health conditions: including depression and anxiety disorders.
  • Osteoarthritis and osteoporosis: conditions that impact joints and bones.

Or perhaps your current lifestyle may eventually lead to one of these diseases. If you already have one, your doctor will likely intervene with medication, but will also recommend a healthier diet and regular exercise.

Either way—it is never too late to make a change! I’ve been in this business for 30 years, and I’ve seen incredible health transformations from simple lifestyle shifts. Whether someone was in the depths of these conditions or predisposed to them, change has made a powerful difference.

I’ve worked with people who were able to lower—or even completely come off—their medications. I’ve seen clients with severe conditions manage them more comfortably, improving their sleep, reducing pain, and even seeing remarkable changes in blood work. One client with an enlarged heart saw it shrink. Another recovered from a brain tumour surgery with surprising ease—to the amazement of her doctors. Yet another client diagnosed with Asthma change his diet not to even suffering from it anymore.

I currently work with an 85-year-old client who has been weightlifting for two years. She suffered a serious fall but walked away with only bruises—not a single broken bone—again to her doctor’s delight.

Many clients have lowered their A1C or reduced high blood pressure within just six weeks (sometimes sooner). I’ve watched people overcome gastric problems, improve their sleep, reduce depression and anxiety, and clear brain fog—all from adopting a proper food plan and consistent movement. No quick fixes, no gimmicks—just real food and everyday activity.

While the principles aren’t rocket science, it can feel overwhelming with all the information overload out there. That’s where we come in. At DEEM, beyond our regular memberships that focus on diet and exercise, we also run challenges and contests for those who thrive with accountability and motivation.

Our next major contest kicks off September 20: The Biggest Loser with a Twist. This is a 3-month program where you’ll join a team, have a team leader, and meet on Saturdays for education sessions on fitness and nutrition, guest speakers, and fun workouts—some with a competitive edge.

This isn’t just about weight loss. We track inches, body fat percentage, and total body composition, while also focusing on maintaining—or even gaining—lean body mass (LBM). Since LBM is highly metabolic tissue, it plays a huge role in long-term health and fat loss.

And here’s the Twist: after the 3 months, you’ll have to keep the weight off for an extra month—on your own—using the tools you’ve learned. That’s what makes the change lasting.
